By creating an account or using Parent Track ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Parent Track provides remote location tracking, and (where enabled and lawful) camera and two-way audio between paired devices, for purposes such as parents monitoring minor children, adults monitoring consenting elderly relatives, and lone-worker safety.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter this agreement.
4.1 You may only monitor a device that you own, or one whose user (or that user's legal guardian, for a minor child) has consented to monitoring.
4.2 You are solely responsible for complying with all applicable laws, including federal and state wiretapping, eavesdropping, and privacy statutes. Many states (including Pennsylvania) require all parties to consent before recording private communications.
4.3 You will not use the Service for covert surveillance, stalking, harassment, or any unlawful purpose. Such use is strictly prohibited and may be a crime.
4.4 The monitored device displays a persistent monitoring indicator while active. You will not attempt to disable, hide, or circumvent it.
You will not: (a) monitor any person without lawful consent; (b) reverse engineer or interfere with the Service; (c) use it to violate anyone's privacy or rights; (d) resell or misrepresent the Service.
Your use of data is governed by our Privacy Policy. You control retention settings and may delete your data. You are the controller of data you collect about monitored persons and are responsible for handling it lawfully.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, accurate, or error-free operation. Do not rely on it as the sole safeguard in an emergency.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Parent Track and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any unlawful use of the Service by you.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Parent Track from claims arising out of your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms or any law.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, including any unlawful monitoring.
We may update these Terms; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. [Confirm with counsel.]
